Road toward Cartagena. There is a toll, we waited one hour. If you are offered for a ride to Sincelejo, be carefull, we got stuck for many hours there. We ended up taking a bus to Toluviejo (2 dollars) and from there we got a ride to Cartagena.

Not a great spot, but still useful if you do not want to go inside Monteria. Try waiting just after the roundabout, you have a road that skips the city and bring you on the road 23 to Medellin.
Remember you can also stop motos, you have higher chances to have short moto rides until Planeta Rica !
From there it took me 2 motos and 2 cars in 3 hours to get to Planeta Rica.

Setup : one guy, not looking obviously foreigner.

Perfect spot to hitchhike, south or north : large road, military control just above so people are driving slow, and you can wait under tree's shadows which is a huge plus on the coast.
Took me 1h to get a ride to Monteria.
